“We started operating in 1993 in the field of Industrial Automation, being our main customers the most important Argentinean companies and company groups.

The solutions we constructed always had the same nuance: challenging projects –directly affecting the core of the production, development of critical mission complex systems, and the integration of knowledge, skills and technologies.

Having more than a decade of experience in the Industrial Automation field, we were the one of the first to introduce engineering rigour along with quality concern and fulfilment of standards into the software engineering field.

 This made it possible to extend the company’s business, adding the development and settlement of the critical mission business applications to the experience in the industrial automation field. We have managed this by using frames taken from the automation world with a special adaptation to the business application world.

    Nowadays, two are the well-defined business areas in TecnoAp:  Industrial Automation and Business IT. Both are mutually complemented:  the higher level layers within the automation layer model are real applications integrated with ERP systems and a company’s information management. Therefore, those skills, knowledge and technologies used for the development of such applications are reused for the development of business applications.
All this explains why we have naturally included compacted and flexible elements from open source software as our tools, offering them as solid and tested components. Because of our model of development based on excellence, enthusiasm and merit, we can say that authority is gained through work.
